We are walking/running/jumping/zumbaing/eating/driving everywhere with smartphones attached to one hand. Only having one hand makes it hard to hold heavy groceries, doesn't it? When did we get attached to a PHONE and begin living in a computerized space?
Is it like this in the rainforest? How DO they get along?
The other day while waiting for my car to get its new airbag installed, the woman in front of me was working her I Pad, smartphone and tablet all at once. Her phone was constantly ringing as she was typing/texting at a frantic pace. Whatever.
I was trying to get interested in reading a book, remember those? But I was intent on watching the woman handle her activities.
It's the modern world way of business on the run.
Mostly business is being run, people are being interviewed, men and women are setting up mobile offices at Starbucks, Panerra, and McDonalds. It's funny to hear someone at Starbucks answer their phone, "Fred's French Laundry, here to please. How may I be of service?"
I own a simple phone only used for emergencies. It cost me $100.00 for the year on Verizon. I have a library card. I make coffee at home.
Let me stop to think about this.
Where is the world going with people who truly believe their phone is their lifeline. Nurses, doctors, all most every person with a smartphone, had a similar response about their phone. I think its become a part of their body system: heart, liver, colon, phone.
I like to find life and that's why I go out with my camera. It's still out there and many still enjoy it. LAUGH!
Sometimes it's even more fun just being out with a gang. Doing things that are FREE.
